| John has taught for the America Academy of
Equine Art, Fredericksburg Artists School, and Scottsdale Artists
School. He currently gives a "beginning &
intermediate" horse painting workshop in Texas for Fredericksburg
Artists School yearly and an "advanced" workshop at his
Colorado ranch. Working from 20 years experience in the veterinary
profession, he stresses the importance of both correct applied anatomy
and the importance of body language in painting horses in watercolor and
oil. In depth discussions in practical anatomy, painting
demonstrations, slide shows, and individual attention are covered in the
5 day course. |
